Nano4Drugs: An European research project to
develop an innovative Protein-Based Drug Delivery Device based on
Fluorescent Diamond Nanoparticles.
This 3 year project started on January 1st, 2006.
Nano4Drugs was officially launched in Paris on January
28. The kick-off meeting gathered together more than 20 scientists from
the 11 consortium’s teams in the historical main room of the
Paris’s Ecole des Mines located boulevard Saint Michel.
This project is highly trans-disciplinary with
expertises in geochemistry, material sciences, fundamental physics and
quantum optics, organic chemistry and biology.
SME partners, ProtEra and Indicia, will play a pivotal role in translating the research into economic activities.
